Nike Vapor Untouchable Speed

Recently released Nike spot. Many iterations of the field destruction was done in a couple of weeks time. The first idea was to fracture a grid in Houdini and simulate as verlet in XSI and brought back into Houdini to put grass on. In the end, no verlet was used, but all kept in Houdini. A fracture with various levels of noise was used to keep things as fast as possible, and as directable as possible. However, the close up shot, the original idea of fractured mesh to verlet was maintained to keep things fluid.
